Two Factor Authentication

Two-step verification (also known as Two-factor authentication, abbreviated to 2FA) is a process involving two elements to verify the identity and authorise the user. This is a special authentication process where the users are identified based on ‘something they know’ i.e. the password and ‘something they have’ i.e. such as phone, email address etc. If the identification process is successful based on both the factors the system then allows the user to proceed.
